Full Tyre Description

The Bridgestone Turanza T001 is an ultra high performance tyre designed for "optimum grip and improved braking on wet roads, while still remaining comfortable on long drives due to low rolling resistance." Available in a range of sizes, the Bridgestone Turanza T001 suits high-performance vehicles where the user needs a tyre that can handle higher speeds. According to the company, the Turanza T001 tyre was developed with luxury touring in mind. Offering superior performance on the open road, the T001 features advanced noise reduction grooves to insulate against environmental noise while maintaining ride comfort. Combined with its tread compound this reportedly results in reduced rolling resistance, the enhanced design delivers better road contact, braking in wet and dry conditions and longer tyre life. All tyres used by the Formula 1 teams were supplied by Bridgestone, from 2008 to 2010. Bridgestone Corporation is the first tire manufacturer to ever establish in Japan. In 1988, the company expands, by taking over of the Firestone Tire Company. Technology and safety are the keywords in the philosophy of this Nippon constructor, who won the second place on the international tire market. Specialized in the off-road tyres, Bridgestone takes very personally the development of ecological tyres, fit to stand up against the worst weather conditions. From a Bridgestone tire we can expect both an excellent wet traction and the noise reduction band or the ride comfort system, all "home made".
