Better alternative – Auto Bild Sportscars tests all-season tyres

Auto Bild Sportscars argues there is no alternative to “genuine summer tyres” for those wanting “to get the best possible performance out of a sports car on the asphalt,” at least in the warmer months of the year. But UK summers are a fleeting phenomenon, and tyres that deliver top performance in warm weather can struggle on winter roads. All-season tyres offer a practical alternative; the performance motoring publication has tested ten products in 225/45 R18.

Kumho – Test result demonstrates commitment to exceptional tyres

In March 2025 we shared the results of the 225/40 ZR18 tyre test from Die Reifentester, an experienced team of journalists and tyre developers based in Germany. Auto Bild has made the Hankook iON Evo the top product in its electric vehicle test. The winner of the 2024 WhatTyre Tyre of the Year and Electric Car Tyre of the Year impressed the German motoring magazine’s testers with its all-round abilities, notably matching Continental’s PremiumContact 7 at the top of the table in wet performance. All eight tyres were tested in size 215/55R18 99V/Y.

Goodyear highlights comparative testing success

Goodyear is getting a good sound out of its tyre test trumpet, with several leading European motoring publications and associations favourably rating its tyres in their summer 2025 comparative tests. Davanti debuts Protoura Race track tyre

The team at Davanti Tyres confirm that the first track tyre in the Davanti range is now available to purchase. Polestar has chosen the Continental SportContact 7 as an original equipment tyre for its Polestar 3 model, granting approval in the 21-inch size for the electric SUV.
