Apollo Aspire Xp Winter

225/45 R17 94V
The Apollo Aspire XP Winter is optimised for wet winter driving. It has excellent water evacuation properties, resulting in good aquaplaning resistance, as well as open grooves in the shoulder that maximise water dispersion when cornering. The manufacturer adds that the tyre achieves better handling on snow through a carefully tuned compound designed especially for low temperatures, lateral sipes in the shoulder that improve traction when accelerating or slowing down, and multidirectional sipes and grooves in the centre which make manoeuvring easy. A newcomer to the European winter tyre market in 2018, Apollo, which owns the Vredestein brand, has achieved some impressive early tyre test results with its new winter tyre flagship.
