The Superia budget brand has been around for several years now, but WhatTyre has learned that the entire range is now being produced by one of the world’s biggest tyre makers. ZC Rubber, best known in the UK for its Westlake and Goodride brands and the 10th largest tyre maker globally, will manufacture a full range of high performance, UHP, SUV and light commercial truck patterns under the Superia brand name.
Philip Delcroix, CEO of Deldo, the firm that owns and distributes the Superia brand, describes ZC Rubber as “the Michelin of the Chinese tyre industry” and considers the tyre maker to be “the expert in Chinese tyres in Europe.”
The launch of the refreshed Superia brand begins with a new range of summer tyres, while the winter and all-season programme will be ready for the 2019/2020 season.
