BMW is working with several tyre makers to equip its second-generation 2 Series Active Tourer, and Nexen Tire has announced that it is one of these partners. Lower spec versions of the MPV equipped with 16-inch rims will be available with Nexen N’Fera Sport tyres in size 205/65 R16.
Nexen Tire describes N’Fera Sport as a “European premium sports tyre that provides excellent drainage performance through 3+1 wide grooves and features asymmetrical patterns suitable for high-speed driving.”
Announcing its supply to BMW, Nexen shares that it intends to leverage the quality and technology gained through research and development to expand its tyre supply to global premium car makers and to strengthen its competitiveness in the European market.
