Mazda is introducing its first plug-in hybrid, the “crafted in Japan” CX-60, and UK customers will receive their crossover with Bridgestone or Yokohama tyres as standard. Depending on specification, Mazda will equip the CX-60 with either Yokohama Advan V61 tyres in size 235/60R18 103V or the Bridgestone Alenza 001 in 235/50 R20 100W.
According to Mazda Motor, the CX-60 is a vehicle which represents “everything that Mazda has built into its DNA over the last 100 years.” It features a 2.5 litre, petrol engine combined with a 100 kW electric motor and 17.8 kWh battery that offers up to 39 miles of pure electric driving when in Normal or EV mode. Working together, the engine and motor deliver a combined power of 327ps.
