A new Kenda tyre range developed specifically to meet the needs of European drivers has arrived. Kenda Tires says that Kenetica Pro KR210 is an “expansion of the tried and tested Emera A1” range. Kenetica Pro is available in 28 dimensions for 13- to 16-in rims and in T to V speed ratings. Kenada positions Kenetica Pro as a high-performance tyre for small to mid-sized cars.
“The Kenetica Pro is the first tyre that we have developed for the Central European market, as we face specific driving characteristics on wet and dry road surfaces,” explains Tobias Kathke, development engineer at the Kenda Europe Technical Center. Kathke adds that Kenda produces all SKUs in the Kenetica Pro line-up at its main factory in Taiwan.
According to Kenda, the Kenetica Pro’s asymmetrical tread pattern provides high stability, improved steering response and wet capabilities. It adds that the four longitudinal grooves in the pattern ensure optimised aquaplaning performance and excellent water drainage. Furthermore, Kenda says the application of new technologies and compounds delivers low rolling resistance.
