The Churchill Tyres brand now includes many sizes offering top-class wet grip. The brand, manufactured by global top ten tyre-maker Sailun Group, offers the Churchill RCB-010 ultra-high performance car tyre in a broad range of 16-20” sizes, many certified with the top A rating on the European tyre label.
The Churchill RCB-010 targets comfortable and efficient driving, The tyre uses Sailun’s latest technologies to obtain its class-leading wet grip. Its compound and pattern are tuned to reduce rolling resistance at the same time, improving fuel economy and reducing cost of ownership. Meanwhile, the tyre’s tread blocks are tuned to reduce noise, absorbing vibrations and boosting comfort.
The RCB-010’s asymmetric pattern also boosts grip and handling, leading to improved responsiveness in steering and under braking. The pattern is also designed to be effective in expelling water – also contributing to its top wet grip marking – and improving wet road handling.

The Churchill car tyre range also offers three other patterns designed for the car tyre market, the RCB-007, 008, and 009, alongside SUV and light truck fitments.
The Churchill RCB-009 UHP tyre combines comfort with low fuel consumption, using a tread compound that supports reduced rolling resistance. Comfort is boosted with the pattern’s varying pitch order and block sipe design, which help absorb vibrations for a quieter ride. The asymmetric tread pattern contains a centre rib for strong grip and handling which allows for precision steering and braking. The four wide grooves are inlaid with horizontal notches to expel water quickly, improving handling in wet conditions.
The Churchill RCB-008 uses an environmentally friendly, high-performance tyre compound with HD Silica and advanced Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) to boost driving safety. The tyre’s asymmetric pattern design features three main ribs and blocks that maximise the tyre’s contact footprint area. This improves cornering and stability on dry roads. In the wet, the tyre’s grooves help increase water drainage.
The Churchill RCB-007 is also employs eco-friendly compounds to offer improved fuel-efficiency and long tread life. The tyre is also good in the wet, using three wide tread grooves and wave-like sipes to drain water, increasing grip on wet roads and improving driving safety. The tread also contains a pair of centre ribs and solid shoulder blocks, which maintain stable contact for better handling.
