Full Tyre Description

The Maxxis Premitra HP5 marked a huge step forward for Maxxis. According to the company, Premitra HP5 delivers outstanding performance in wet and dry weather conditions. The tyre has been designed with a full-silica rubber compound developed to reduce heat generation, as well as improve wear performance and durability. The multiple variable pitch tread and lateral groove design has been developed to reduce vibration noise, reduce rolling resistance and enhance wet handling to minimise the chances of hydroplaning. High-speed stability and handling has been improved due to high strength steel belts, in order to achieve an outstanding sport performance, Maxxis adds. Founded in 1967 in Taiwan, the Cheng-Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd company has subsidiaries and distribution centres in 130 countries. Maxxis tyres have been honoured by the Ford Motor Company with the World Excellence Award in 2001.
