The Falken Eurowinter HS01 high-end winter tyre is made with 3D sipe technology, 4D nano design compound and "micro-optimised stiffening of the tread blocks" to result in "satisfying winter characteristics, with low noise and outstanding performance in wet conditions". Making its Auto Express winter tyre test debut in September 2018 as the cheapest tyre tested, Falken’s Eurowinter HS01 was praised for the relatively close margins between it and higher-ranked tyres tested in most tests; it finished within 10 per cent of the test-winner in 11 of the 13 tests, securing a podium position in joint-third place in snow handling.
