The Potenza S001 tyre is designed for "maximum sports performance" and, according to the company, can also offer high efficiency/reduced rolling resistance at the same time. Already factory fitted on the Aston Martin Rapide and Ferrari F458 Italia, the Potenza S001 is available now in the European replacement market. As far as construction is concerned, the Potenza S001 has been developed and tested in motorsports toughest arena (F1). Furthermore, the Potenza S001 uses an advanced asymmetric tread which gives outstanding handling and performance in both wet and dry road conditions. Slanted grooves also help with water dissipation thus giving high traction and stability on wet surfaces. Bridgestone’s flagship sports tyre is made from an advanced material compound and features a reinforced sidewall, increasing the stiffness of the tyre carcass and improving responsiveness and cornering power. What’s more, rolling resistance has been reduced, keeping the Potenza S001 in line with regulations for today and tomorrow, while an EU Grade ‘A’ label for wet grip has also been obtained.
