Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyre offers 20% more mileage than Michelin
Goodyear claims its new EfficientGrip Performance 2 can achieve 50 per cent higher mileage than its predecessor and 20 per cent better mileage than Michelin. The claims are based on tests conducted by TÜV SÜD, which also found that the EfficientGrip Performance 2 had the shortest braking distances on wet and dry roads compared to leading competitors.
Fit2Go makes checking tyre pressures easy
Illegal, defective or under-inflated tyres caused 2,288 British car accidents between 2014 and 2018. Marking Road Safety Week (18-24 November), British technology firm and Michelin licensee Fit2Go TPMS reckons its Michelin Pressure Checker gadget could help to significantly cut those figures.
What are all-season and winter tyres?
As the weather gets colder, road safety charity TyreSafe advises that driver make sure their tyres have plenty of tread depth and are maintained at the correct pressure. Michelin the most Googled tyre brand
Michelin is the most search tyre brand on Google in Europe, according to price comparison site Rezulteo. Rezulteo studied the popularity of tyre brands in Europe using Google search volume data for tyre manufacturers in each country from 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2019. The study took “brand name” + “tyre” queries in the official languages of each European country into account.
